Welcome to the Servants of Mary
The Congregation of Servants of Mary is a Pontifical International Missionary Congregation of women religious founded by Blessed Louis Edward Cestac, on January 6, 1842 at Bayonne, in France. The Generalate is at Anglet in France.
The congregation started in India in 1982, in Tamil Nadu, Erode District, in the Diocese of Udagamandalam. Today we work for the welfare of the poor in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Kerala.

Blessed Louis Edward Cestac
He served as vicar of the Cathedral in Bayonne where he gave his full attention to the poor and the down trodden after the French Revolution, particularly for young women and girls.
